Pricing info: Sony 400-800mm G will cost 2999€ and 16mm f/1.8 G 999€
I got the pricing info for the two new lenses coming on February 26:
- Sony 400-800mm f/6.3-8.0 G (B&H Photo, Amazon, Adorama) Weight 2,5kg, 105mm Filter, 2999 Euro
- Sony 16mm f/1.8 G (B&H Photo, Amazon, Adorama) 999 Euro
One more additional info is that the 400-800 G will have a 105mm filter size.

Cosina/Voigtländer confirms new lenses will be announced at the CP+ show
On the CP+ show page, the Cosina/Voigtlände event is officially listed for the launch of new lenses. No idea what’s coming, but I own the 40mm f/1.2 and the 50mm f/1.0 FE lens. So I’m very excited to see what else they have in store for us manual focus enthusiasts.

The testers’ feedback on the next two Sony lenses: 400-800mm G lens, while the 16mm G is a really great lens

I am in touch with some testers of the new Sony 400-800mm G lens. They have mixed feelings on this lens. Basically you don’t hate it nor love it. They like the focal range but the lens is a bit on the heavy side (2,5kg) and not super sharp. But this was to be expected from a G lens. I guess this is a lens made for a certain niche, and they will probably like the lens for what it is.
The feedback on the new Sony 16mm f/1.8 G is very positive. This lens is more compact, lighter, with faster autofocus and better image quality than the only competing lens on the market (available here).
Both lenses will be announced on Feb 26 while more new gear COULD be announced in late March-early April!
