Amazon updated the Sony A99II shipment estimate to “1 to 3 months”

Today Amazon (Click here) updated the A99II shipment estimate to “1 to 3 months”. And also the 70-200mm GM is sold out again with e 2-5 weeks delivery. It’s 7-14 days waiting time at BHphoto.

I hope Sony can soonfind a way to proudce more A99II cameras.

(SR3) Sony planing a major announcement the second half of March?

I got two messages from two new sources. I am posting this in the hope trusted sources can confirm it:

Both new sources said Sony is planning a major announcement for the second half of March. They both added that there will be a new Sony camera (but they don’t know yet what it is).

It could be that Sony will show their new camera on March 18 at the Photography Show in Birmingham. But knowing Sony it could also be that they will announce it after the show by very end March. Anyway hope to hear back from my trusted sources soon to confirm this. So for now this is ranked SR3 only (50% chance it’s true).

What could we eventually expect to get from Sony? High on the list is the new 16-35mm F/2.8 GM. Still not sure if it’s the right time for the new High End E-mount camera release with dual card slot and bugger than A7 body.
