I Painted My Sony A6000 Pink
I decided to paint my Sony A6000 pink for fun. Before you pick up the pitchforks, this A6000 is partially broken. Both camera dials do not work and it isn’t able to read the electronic connections on e-mount lenses. I can pretty much only use it with a manual lens in aperture priority. This was caused from numerous wave splashed shooting seascape photos.
The first thing I did was remove the grips. I would have disassembled the camera, but some of the screw heads are rusted out due to salt water corrosion.
Next I masked off some of the parts with masking tape.
I mounted my camera to a light stand and painted it with a can of pink spray paint.
Finished painting and put the grips back on.
This will be a fun camera to shoot with in public!
Two Wheeled Nomad Bubbly jubbly. This frozen 20 square mile lake seriously twisted my melon: it’s full of trapped methane bubbles (not Jason’s), suspended within a foot of ice, beneath which lies crystal clear waters about 65 feet deep and big trout that come cruising to the ice ceiling, attracted by our illumination. Quite surreal–well worth freezing our maracas off for. Pictures taken at Abraham Lake on North Saskatchewan River in Clearwater County, western Alberta, Canada by Jason Spafford

Canon “Dream Lens”
After almost two years of consideration I becamethe owner of a Canon 50mm F0.95 lens.I finally obtained onereasonably affordably when a Westlicht Auctions in Vienna( where I live) were auctioning one at a time that coincided with my bank account having enough in it for me to bid. Thisrarelens has a small but strong followingand is often found modified to Leica M mount. Exculding prototypes there are two variants a range finder coupled and a TV version. The version I have is Range finder coupled.
