The Korean manufacturer Novachip announced brand new Type A cards you can buy now on Amazon (Click here). These are all 4.0 generation and VPG400 certified cards. What sets them apart from others is that they are very affordable, manufactured in-house and have a custom-developed architecture for maximum heat dissipation.

Novachips told me this:

Our cards will be less hotter, meaning more stable recording at xavc hs 8K or Intra 4K.

For stills, our cards should perform equal or slightly faster than Lexar Gold or Sony (according to our Internal Testing). this is due to the engineering of the card (we engineered our cards and firmware for sustained speed).
