🔥 Canon R6III Coming Nov 6 – 32MP, Open-Gate, Pre-Capture for €2899! Sony A7V Beware!
As suspected the new Canon R6III will use the same (very good) Canon C50 sensor! Here are the key specs:

By comparison, the Sony A7V is expected to be announced around mid-November, likely priced just under $3,000 and featuring either a refined or newly designed 33MP sensor — though unfortunately, still no Open Gate support.

Vietnamese retailer already accepting preorders on the Sony A7V for $2600!
A Vietnamese retailer is so confident in the upcoming Sony A7V that they’ve already started accepting preorders for it! They are asking 66,990,000 ₫ (Vietnamese dong) which is around $2600. As image of the camera they actually used an old rendering I made many months ago :)
Sony A7V specs known so far:
- A7V has been registered in Indonesia with the code “WW824259”. The camera is manufactured in Thailans
- Leaked image seems to suggest it has 33Mps sensor (we don’t know if it’s a tweaked A7IV sensor version or a new partially stacked)
- new AI chip like the Sony A1II
- Same Sony A7rV body design. This means same 4 way fully articulating screen and same controls
- It does NOT have the Sony A1II/A9III grip design
- price close to $3000
- Announcement likely in November at earliest with shipment start in January/February
