Sony patented a new 26mm f/2.8 lens that is more compact than the actual 24mm f/2.8
The Sony 24mm f/2.8 G lens strength is the very compact size that makes it perfect for use on the Sony A7c cameras. But Sony want’s to go even further with size reduction. A newly published patent discloses the design of a 26mm f/2.8 lens that is 5mm shorter than the 24mm G. That would be quite an impressive small lens!

Today’s my birthday and this may be the only a9III I get for the next year.. but I may pickup the real thing eventually..
