Last week I told you that Tamron will soon announce another big zoom lens. Well, two trusted sources have just told me that Sigma will also soon announce a big zoom lens!I have been told that unlike the recent Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN Art lens this is more “intriguing” for the masses as it’s NOT a niche lens but an affordable lens that could be interesting for most of our readers.

One of my trusted sources is sure that Sony will not announce a new Sony A7V this year. According to him, the A7IV will definitely arrive in 2025.
I have yet to double and triple check this rumor, but this source has been right many times in the past, so I am inclined to believe him. Unless he is wrong this time and unless Sony decides to change the roadmap at the last minute, I think we should not expect to have the A7V this year.
Probably Sony thinks the now nearly three old A7IV still holds up well against the new Nikon Z6III and the two year old Canon R6II. A spec comparison can be found on that BHphoto page:
I hope the source can soon come back with some more precise release time info and possibly even some specs. In the mean time let me know in the comment system what you expect from the A7V. And this is the poll:
Peta Pixel has pitted the new Sony ZV-E10II against the Lumix S9. I agree with Jordan when he says that the Sony is the wiser and more mature choice. However, I like the design of the S9 and hope that someday Sony will also make a nice-looking super-compact full frame camera that does not look plastic like the ZV-E1.
Today TTartisan announced they will soon launch a “non tilt-shift” version that should be more affordable. There is no reorder option yet but the lens will be available in all different mount version (E / X / Z / RF / L / GFX / EF / F)
