This is purely speculation and what I think might be in the new Sony A7V. I want to be pretty optimistic about this camera as the A7 IV is my most used camera I own. It is the daily driver and what I use to create my youtube and instagram videos specially with the talking head portions. You will see footage of it on my channel as the main Behind The Scenes camera. What are your thoughts on what the Sony A7 V might have?
A few weeks ago, I told you that the Sony A7V will probably be unveiled in the first half of 2025. There are no solid rumors about the possible specifications yet, so you can all dream freely about the new features of the camera :)

The new 28mm f/4.5 FE AF lens is selling hot on Indiegogo (Click here). Viltrox now reports the first batch nearly sold out, and second batch coming in November:
We’re excited to announce that the first batch of the Viltrox 28mm F4.5 FE lenses is almost sold out! The second batch of 2,000 lenses is already in production and expected to be ready for shipment in early November.
I think Fujifilm shot themselves in the foot by not launching a full-frame system camera. They certainly would have taken some of their share of the full-frame camera market from Canon, Nikon and Sony. Instead, they opted for medium format, but that has many disadvantages:
Cameras are bigger
Lenses are MUCH bigger
More expensive
Medium format sensor innovation pace is much slower than FF
Now Fujirumors reports that Fujifilm is working on a completely NEW camera that will not be a successor to a current model. And what’s even more interesting is that it will have a “new sensor size”. Obviously this could mean anything: 1inch, MFT, Full Frame or super large medium format and so forth. But if I would be the big boss at Fujifilm I would make sure to release a fixed lens Full Frame camera. Something like a Fuji version of the super compact Sony RX1 series. It would be the first competitor of the hot selling Leica Q3 and at the same time also be a test model for Fuji to see if it would make sense to later announce a FF camera with interchangeable system.
For Sony this would mean new strong competition don’t you think?

One more message to the Sony managers: where is our new RX1 FF camera model? :)
