You can now preorder the new NiSi 250mm f/5.6 Reflex lens at BHphoto and Adorama.

A new chinese company named “San show” is offering CFexpress Type A cards for very low price on Amazon (Click here). Among the most interesting cards you get those two:

• 512GB card with 810r-710w MB/s for $279
• 1TB card with 910r-810w MB/s for $489

Those are not Compact Flash certified cards so we have to test to see if they can have a decent sustained speed.

The Sony ZV-E10II reorder page is up at BHphoto (Click here). The curious note is that preorders will open immediately after Sony’s official event. For years Sony has allowed preorders to open in the United States only 24 hours after each camera and lens is announced. It is a stupid policy and I hope they will finally change it!

Venus Optics just announced this new Laowa Zoom Shift APS-C lens. Preorders will open soon on their website and on BHphoto.

And here comes the next Chinese company launching their first autofocus lens. SG-image announced that it will release its first full-frame AF lens in July. There are no info about the possible specs and I don’t know if this is going to be an E-mount lens.

SG-image has already announced two APS-C E-mount lenses with manual focus this year. None of these lenses are available for pre-order on Amazon or other stores worldwide. Therefore, I do not know if they will come to market.

CIPA has shared data on camera shipments by Japanese manufacturers for May. So far, sales are definitely stronger than last year, and it is clear that the decade-long decline has bottomed out. This should give all manufacturers more confidence and reliability in developing their products.
