I got this wild rumor:

Sony plans to sell the VENICE Compact in 2023, which features a high-speed stacked full-frame sensor with 4.3K resolution, 17 stops dynamic range, full resolution up to 90fps, and DCI 4K 1.1x crop up to 120fps. It offers 2 CF Express Type-A card slots, thus reducing the size of the storage module. Also, the detached sensor module is no longer supported. As a camera with 2 times the read out speed of VENICE 2, it is more suitable for certain extreme point-of-view applications.

No idea if this is true….

Viltrox is on fire and they keep releasing new lenses. The nes on is the 27mm f/1.2 APS-C E-mount lens. It has 0.28m close focus. The Z version is coming in mid-August and E/X mount versions a bit later (image shows X-mount version).
