So guys, probably next week on the 23rd of April Sony will introduce the new 50-150mm f/2.0 GM lens. But today I got an info about a second lens. And I don’t know yet if this lens will be announced on the 23rd of April or in June. If confirmed this is a “sort of” successor of THIS LENS. I am asking my sources to possibly tell me more about this lens as I am not sure if this information is real yet. Thank you!

Shutter 4.10 adds USB tethered shooting to Sony cameras

The new Shutter – Sony Camera Remote version is available for iPhone and iPad.

What’s New
Shutter now supports wired USB connections for seamless communication with most Sony and Canon cameras, ensuring faster speeds and greater reliability (check compatibility). Tethered shooting offers improved performance for all genres of photography and videography.

External monitoring
Video creators and vloggers can use their iPhone or iPad to preview framing and composition while they are in front of the lens. Large and bright displays of Apple devices provide an easy way to monitor shots on set or in outdoor environments.
Exposure and composition tools like RGB histograms, false color, zebras, grid and aspect ratio overlays are available to help nail down the shot.

Fast photo & video transfer
Transferring lots of high-resolution photos can be slow with Wi-Fi modules built into cameras. USB allows photographers to quickly backup and share their work.

Real Estate
Having a large screen with composition tools allows real estate photographers to precisely frame their shots, and move quickly around the set without worrying about Wi-Fi connectivity.

USB support works with any iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or newer. iPad and iPhone with an USB-C port can be connected directly to the camera.

Owners of Lightning port iPhone (pre iPhone 15) need to purchase a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. It is important to note that a Lightning to USB cable included with the iPhone will not work. An adapter is required.
