Yesterday I told you that on July 10 Sony will announce the new ZV-E10II and a redesigned 16-50mm lens. So it makes sense to read that in Japan the current 16-50mm lens has been marked as discontinued (Source: Asobinet).
As you know Sony first released than pulled off the Version 5.0 because of a bug. Now they released the 5.01 version that fixes everything:

We went to Tahiti last month and took surfing video of the GOAT (Kelly Slater) with this set up: Sony A1 70-200mm GMII 1.4 TC Shot in 120 FPS.The video is getting a lot of views (around 13K views as of now).

We all know Sony has 14.80% share in Tamron and we know Tamron has no problem making such lenses for different mounts. The question therefore is…will Tamron also make an E-mount version of this lens? Keep in mind there is already a Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 FE lens…would you need a 180-600mm FE?
