Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.2 LAB Sony E to be announced ahead of CP+ show
According to leaked information on Weibo, VILTROX’s full-frame AF lens “AF 35mm F1.2 LAB” is scheduled to be announced at CP+ in February 2025. Here are some additional info:
- This lens is VILTROX’s first full-frame compatible F1.2 large aperture autofocus lens, and is expected to be available in both Sony E-mount and Nikon Z-mount.
- The lens body is expected to be lighter than the Nikon Z 35mm F1.2 S, and the expected price will be just a quarter of the price of the Nikon Z 35mm F1.2 (so around $700). It is also half the price of the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 FE

The “LAB” series is their highest quality lineup and includes the existing Viltrox 135mm f/1.8 FE LAB. Two more f/1.2 primes are rumored to be announced in 2025:
- 50mm f/1.2 AF FF “LAB”
- 85mm f/1.2 AF FF “LAB”
