Very WILD rumor: Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM to be announced in May?

Back on January Sony announced the 300mm f/2.8 GM development with a target launch date in early 2024. ​I now got a wild rumors about an anticipated launch of this lens. To me this sounds very unlikely but hey…I would be happy to be proven wrong!

An anonymous source is sharing this across the web:

Sony 300 2.8 GM will be announced end of May.
Lightest 300/2.8 with fastest AF and closest minimum focus distance on the market.

I would be very surprised if this turns out to be true, therefore take it with a big grain of salt!
