We were there 1 hour before sunrise and were lucky to grab “front row seats”. It was a very still lake but no clouds. However, the autumn colours were impressive and so max sliders :-P

The morning waxing crescent moon rising and the Milky Way at full arch over Half Dome in Yosemite national park. It’s a celestial event that doesn’t happen that often a year but if you can catch it weather pending in your favor it’s one of the most beautiful spectacles of nature and space you can lay your eyes on.
