We were there 1 hour before sunrise and were lucky to grab “front row seats”. It was a very still lake but no clouds. However, the autumn colours were impressive and so max sliders :-P

The morning waxing crescent moon rising and the Milky Way at full arch over Half Dome in Yosemite national park. It’s a celestial event that doesn’t happen that often a year but if you can catch it weather pending in your favor it’s one of the most beautiful spectacles of nature and space you can lay your eyes on. Shot with the Sony A7rII and Tokina 11-20mm f2.8
