On every trip to Hawaii – and anywhere else with clear(ish) water – I usually spend a couple good sessions in bright afternoon light trying to make a few photos of the waves. My wife puts up with it as she can just close her eyes, enjoy the sun and crashing of the waves and pretend she doesn’t know the guy with the camera standing in the surf, trying not to get hit by waves.
