We might get the first ultra fast FE zoom lens: New Tamron patent discloses the 70-130mm f/2.0 FE and 200-400mm f/4.0 FE

A newly published Tamron patent describes the design of two exciting zooms made for Full Frame mirrorless system cameras:

  • 70-130mm f/2.0 FE
    This lens would be the fastest zoom in the FE system
  • 200-400mm f/4.0 FE
    This lens would compete with the Sony 100-400mm GM lens. Yes the Sony lens has 100mm wider end but the Tamron would be faster and more compact in size.
