Reliable leaked How2Fly just tweeted that Tamron will soon announce a new BIG zoom lens! I have no idea yet about th possible specs but we can guess based on patents:
- I know the Nikkor Z 180-600mm f/5,6-6,3 VR lens is actually a Tamron design. So an E-mount version could be possible
- Just recently we saw a new 50-200mm f/2.8 FF lens patent
- There was a patent for a 200-400mm f/4.0 lens
- Another patent for the 200-800mm f/5.6
Now, in my opinion that 200-800mm f/5.6 lens would be a stunner! Don’t you agree?
