- Batis 2/40 CF currently has some hiccups with Eye-AF and AF with focus magnifier, yes.
- Zeiss is aware of the problem and is investigating the possible cause if it is lens, body or something else. This is on high priority.
- Batis 2/40 CF stops maximum of two stops at the MFD. So, f/2 becomes f/4 (not f/8). This happens to sustain high image quality. There are other lenses that does this too, Sony ones too (ie. a common practice with some lenses).
- Someone have had a rough customer experience with Zeiss, but currently Zeiss admits that there is a problem and is investigating it. If it is a lens, quite likely a firmware update will fix it.
