Jon: “Just to let you know that the Profoto Sony trigger is now released (I got mine a few days ago and put it through early tests this morning with B1 and D1 heads). From early tests it works perfectly, and even changes to high speed mode automatically as the shutter increases past x-sync.”

Zack: “I live and work in NYC, which happens to be the corporate headquarters for Sony’s US operations. Inside their headquarters is a space called Sony Square where they demo all of their new tech. This includes the playstation, their home theater products, and all of the latest photo equipment.
The nice thing is, they let you test out the gear for free as long as you bring it back by closing time. They put a 15% hold on your card for the item you’re taking out, but refund at the end of the day.
