Roger: “I was in Westwood as the police and media converged soon after the tragic shooting of an Engineering professor at UCLA. I had my A7Rii and SELP18105G lens on me so shot handheld footage as it happened. Shot in 4K then downscaled to 1080p. I unfortunately did not have my external audio recorder with me so I just used the on camera mic.
I thought the A7Rii and 18105G handled the unplanned, “run and gun” nature of this situation well considering I didn’t have a monopod, stabilizer or external mic.
