Sigma officially teases the launch of new products at CP+
Sigma Japan has officially confirmed that they will be launching new products at the CP+ show. They have released the list of their events and it includes the following:
- February 27th 14:00-14:45 … “Behind the Scenes of SIGMA Product Development” SIGMA Development Staff #Product Development
- February 28th 12:00-12:45 … “A little bit from Ozone” Yasuhiro Ozone (SIGMA employee) #Product development
- March 1st 12:00-12:45 … “Content TBD” Kazuto Yamaki (SIGMA Representative)
- March 1st 16:10-16:50 … “About SIGMA’s new products” U-Tobi #NewProducts
Two products are “rumored” for now:
- Full release of the previously teased Sigma 28-45mm T2 Cine E mount lens (listed here at BH).
- New Sigma 800mm f/6.3 E and L-mount lens
But maybe something completely different is coming? Sigma CEO Yamaki has promised that this year they will be launching a telephoto lens that nobody has dared to try before!
