Selling hot: Excope DT1 is a 200x magnification camera….but with misleading image samples?

The 200x Excope DT1 has made a ton of sales on Kickstarter. But before you place your preorder read the latest article on PetaPixel. They made a serious investigation into the marketing material they got from the company and discovered that some images were taken on “normal” cameras like the Canon 70D. P.S.: Great work Jeremy Gray!

UPDATE: The Excope team contacted me and told me this:

All the necessary changes have also been made to our Kickstarter campaign page to avoid any confusion among our backers in the future.
