In total three sources now confirmed the lens will be announced tomorrow (January 17) at around 3pm London time. They also gave me some more info about the lens specs!
Rumored Sony 20-70mm f/4.0 specs:
- Similar size as the Sony 24-105mm f/4.0 lens (see image on top)
- sharper than the first generation Sony 24-70mm GM
- very little distortion
- 72mm filter
- Price 1.599 Euro
- Announcement on January 17
