It looks like Tamron might release some more super fast zooms for the Sony E-mount. This newly published Japanese patent describes the design of a new 20-50mm f/2.0 FE zoom. The total length of the lens would be 15cm.

Tamron announced their three FE pries have issues working with the new A7IV. They will soon fix this via firmware upgrade.

The worldwide chip shortage and the camera high demand is pushing the next stock shipment to October 2022! And this is bad news for all camera manufacturers. If Nikon can’t ship their flagship I doubt other manufacturers will do any better in 2022.
I already told you that Sony will announce most new cameras in the second half of 2022 due the expected chip shortage. But I guess it will still take many months before they can actually ship enough of the new A7RV and A9III cameras…
