I know I am crazy to even attempt to write such a clickbait post. But I still hope Sony managers are hearing me (and you) out. I strongly believe there is a big market for a Sony A7000. it could be a $1999 mini A1 for the masses!
Today Fuji announced the new X-T5 (BHphoto, Amazon). First I am going to the key specs of the Fuji and than to the imaginary A7000:

The A7000 could offer the A1 controls and speed for a fraction of the price. Here my wishlist specs:
I am sure this A7000 would sell instantly well, but I guess Sony is afraid it would cannibalize the FX and Full Frame series sales?

Today Nikon announced the new 600mm f/4.0 (specs and preorders at BHphoto). It’s $1500 more expensive than the Sony GM but it also has a nice built-in 1.4x tc.
