Some test photos made with the new 30mm lens are available on a japanese blog (click here for the google english translation). The results are impressive if you consider the price!
SonyAlphaRumors found a new Sony patent (September 24, 2009 patent NR. 20090237493) which shows a digital 3D camera. The text clearly says that such tecnology will be used in video and still cameras (and use CCD sensors)
The Sony 70-400mm lens has been heavily tested by the guys from popphoto. The short sentence is: “An optical superstar, this lens is a natural for wildlife and sports.” Sounds good!

Sony is hard pushing the new monocular 3D videorecording. You can read the official sony press release on sonys japanese website. I suspect that the 3D tecnology could soon find his way in Sony digital cameras. Fuji has been the first to release a 3d photo camera (The FinePix REAL 3D V1)
