Adobe added preliminary support for the new Sony A9III. Northrup quickly analyzed the Sony A9III RAW to check out how the Image Quality is:
Before you draw a a final conclusion a couple of remarks:
Northrup used a pre-production camera with non finalized software
Adobe supports is “preliminary” and not final
Comparing 50MP A1 with 24MP A9III is not exactly super fair. We should compare it with a 24MP camera from any other brand.
My short take on this:
Even if it doesn’t match the A1 Image Quality, the quality is high enough for the benefits it brings fro sports photographers: 120p, no rolling shutter, no banding, and so forth…
Tamron Japan constructed this giant 35-150mm FE mockup lens for a new advertisement campaign that still have to be disclosed. Maybe we are going to see this at the CP+ show in February?
