The slide on top shows the pricing info of the next two new E-mount lenses (Click on the slide to enlarge). The new Zeiss 16-35mm f/4.0 OSS FE lens will cost 1350 Euro and ship end of October. The 28-135mm f/4.0 Powerzoom will cost 2500 Euro and ship beginning of December.

And here is the slide concerning the QX1. It has the same 20 Mp sensor from the “old” Sony A5000.

These are the first pictures of the ILCE-QX1 E-mount camera. The third QX camera after the [shoplink 28423 ebay]QX10 and QX100 (here one Bay)[/shoplink]. But unlike the other two this hasn’t a fixed lens but is an E-mount module. It has an APS-C sensor (not sure yet but should have the same great A6000 24MP sensor with fast af), built-in flash, costs 300 Euro body only and 450 Euro with 16-50mm lens. It will be announced tomorrow (September 3) at 16:00 in Berlin. You can follow the event live here on SonyAlphaRumors.com!

Zeiss (Click here) just announced the new Loxia series. The Loxia 2/50 will be available worldwide starting October 2014 and the Loxia 2/35 from the end of the fourth quarter of 2014. The recommended retail price of the Loxia 2/35 will be EUR 965.55* (US$ 1,299.00)* (excl. VAT) and that of the Loxia 2/50 will be EUR 713.45* (US$ 949.00)* (excl. VAT).

This is the first image of the new Sony E-mount FS 4K camcorder. It will be announced soon! I have been told it has the same resolution, sensor size and codec as the [shoplink 28410 ebay]$30k F55 camera[/shoplink]. I don’t know if that will please current F55 owners…because the FS700II costs only one-third. But that’s how technology goes…

The new Speedbooster Ultra does everything the original first generation Speedbooster did…but it does it better! It has an advanced 5-element/4-group optical design incorporating ultra-high index tanatalum-based optical glass to achieve extraordinary optical performance with improved corner sharpness, distortion and reduced vignetting.

Sharper corners, less distortion, reduced vignetting

Like the revolutionary original Metabones Speed Booster announced in January 2013, the Speed Booster ULTRA has a magnification of 0.71x, and so it effectively reduces the crop factor of mirrorless cameras with DX-sized sensors, such as Sony E-mount and Fuji X-mount cameras, from 1.5x to 1.07x. However, the new ULTRA design makes very effective use of exotic materials at the furthest limit of glassmaking technology, and as a result is well corrected for use with virtually all fullframe SLR lenses regardless of exit pupil distance. Thus, the Speed Booster ULTRA performs extremely well with professional-grade f/2.8 zoom lenses such as the 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 zooms by Canon and Nikon to produce 17-50mm f/2.0 and 50-142mm f/2.0 high-speed zooms, respectively. Similarly, high-speed fixed focal length lenses such as a 50mm f/1.2 will be transformed into a 35.5mm f/0.9 lens with excellent contrast and resolution from the center all the way to the edges of the image. I can confirm via trusted sources that Sony will indeed soon announce a new high end E-mount 4K video camera. I have yet no 100% reliable specs a part of the obvious 4K recording capability. But here are some rumors I got from three new sources (Thank You All).

Source 1) Sony will be taking design cues from the success of the Canon Cinema series. Will replace FS100. E-mount. 4k. Competitively priced. These will be C100 and C300 killers!!

Source 2) Sony will release a C100/300 killer. More E mount video/cinema-centric lenses to come.

Source 3) Sony will soon release another E mount S35 (crop) cinema camera. This one will shoot 4k internally to memory cards. Not an A7s sensor, maybe an F5 sensor? Under $10k USD. Possible announce at IBC or photokina
