The black A7c is now discontinued at BHphoto. This means Sony stopped the production of this camera. You can still find the silver version in Stock at BHphoto and Amazon.

Reminder: The reconditioned Sony A7CII now sells for $1674 only at Amazon (Click here). This is the lowest price I ever so on the refurbished item. Same goes for the Sony A7cR which now sells also for the lowest price ever at $2279 at Amazon (Click here).

First image of the new SG 24mm f/6.3 full-frame pancake lens

SG will soon be launching a new 24mm f/6.3 full frame pancake lens. The image above shows the edition number ‘00001’ and is the L-mount version. But E-mount will be available too for a price of 299 Yuan (about $65).. It’s obviously a manual focus lens and I’m not expecting outstanding optical performance.

In an ever-changing world, it’s important to offer new and different solutions for creatives. Personally, I’m a big fan of Sony’s 20-70mm G lens and think Sony will develop more of these ‘unique’ lens designs in the future (sources have told me this too). Chris and Jordan from PetaPixel have listed their favorite ‘weird’ lenses:

First FULL SIZE images of the new Sony 400-800mm f/6.3-8.0 lens

A source (thank you!) has sent me the first pictures of the new Sony 400-800mm f/6.3-8.0 lens in FULL SIZE. It really does look almost like a copy of the current Sony 200-600mm G lens. I was told that the 400-800mm is a little bit bigger and heavier than the 200-600mm. The weight is said to be around 2.5kg. I have no information on pricing….I’m guessing it will be in the neighbourhood of $2,500…what do you think?

These are the two lenses that Sony will announce before the Cp+ how (perhaps on 26 February):

If you also have images of the new 16mm lens use this contact box or via sonyalpharumors@gmail.com. And of course…I want to know what’s coming after those two lenses…the Sony A7v?
