A source told me that among the new FE lenses that Sony will show in autumn there will be certainly a new FE tele zoom lens and the long time rumored fast portrait lens. He added that most of the other new FE lenses will ship in 2016 only :(

UDPATED POST: I got two anonymous sources sending me two different A6100 info. So either both or one of them is wrong, or we have two different cameras coming:

Source_1:

Sony A6000 successor will be announced on September 11. A6100 will support [shoplink 40116 ebay]UHS-II SD cards[/shoplink] with a maximum write speed of 173 MB/s. It will have a new 24 megapixel sensor with 15% better ISO performance. There won’t be 4K video recording capability. There won’t be a silver version anymore, only black.

just saw your latest post and want to say that a6100 or a6000II will have 4K 100mbps but no full readout like a7rII s35 mode. 32mp but not 24mp  BSI sensor, and yes with 15% better noise performance. price is unknown yet. It will also have a larger T* viewfinder 0.75x

I still have no 100% confirmation from trusted sources that the camera will be announced on Sept. 11. All I know from them is that indeed the A6xxx is coming within the September/October timeframe. No info yet on the A7sII announcement timeframe…

But there are some HIGHLY exciting products still to come…more on that on next rumors…

I just got info about the new E-mount camcorder form a source (Thanks a lot!). He said:

New Sony F cam Friday is S35, not FF. 4K internally, but 8 bit XAVC-L (note the L) 100 Mbit max. No HFR as far as I can tell, 30fps max in 4K. Looks like a baby FS7. Price will be between old FS700 and current FS7, likely $5,000-6,500 USD. Differentiation on FS7 is much better CODEC, higher frame rates (incl 60p 4K), option for RAW and ProRes, bigger build.

A second highly trusted source sent me this:

Sony will shock everybody soon with their new creation.

Don’t know if he refers to the one camcorder I shared the specs about or about a second product (FF camcorder, A7sII or whatever).

The camcorder will be announced on September 11 at 9am CET (Berlin time). You can follow the event live on the following Sony Uk page. I will also embed the live streaming on SAR.
