Dpreview interviewed Fuji and this is what they think about Sony:
Toru Takahashi: “Sony has a big advantage, they make their own sensors. That is a very big advantage for them, but they are weak in lenses.” Toshihisa Iida: “And they are weakened by having so many formats. APS-C, full-frame, [across both] DSLR and mirrorless. So their lens division must be under a lot of pressure!”
And after the interview Barnaby Britton from dpreview added an editor’s note: “representatives from more than one manufacturer have suggested to me privately that they doubt whether Sony is serious about sub full-frame formats in the long term”
Our Canadian colleges from TCSTV tested the new RX1rII. They compared it with the Leica Q:
The [shoplink 44171]Leica Q[/shoplink] has a better manual focus ring and better overall handling, larger battery, higher resolution EVF.
The [shoplink 44135]RX1rII[/shoplink] is smaller and the RAW image quality is way better (better sharpness, high ISO, Dynamic range)
Overall conclusion: Chris says he likes the Leica Q better “as a camera” but the Sony is the best bang for the buck. It is the better purchase between the two.

TheSpaniard: “While this isn’t strictly Sony, it is a story from our favourite lens manufacturer for our Somy cameras, Carl Zeiss. They’ve made a Smart glasses, ala Google Glass. http://www.wired.com/2016/01/zeiss-smart-glasses/”
Roderick: “Hi there, here is something I shot during my holiday last year in Costa da Caparica(Portugal) in between surfing, using A7s and mainly Noct Nikkor 58mm F/1.2 and 24mm AF-S F/1.4, and a 100mm AIS Nikkor E with a 2x extender for the kite surf shots. It was shot pretty much run and gun, but the surf shots were done using a monopod for stability. Mainly 1080p24 and 720p120 for the surf shots. https://vimeo.com/137879865“
