Matti Sulanto and Christopher Frost did test one of the strangest E-mount lenses you can get. It’s so strange that I didn’t even know how to title this post :)

Also Digitalcameraworld tested the Remaster Slim and concluded:

A new Chinese manufacturer will soon launch an f/1.2 full-frame autofocus E-mount on the market

There are rumors on Weibo about a completely new Chinese company that wants to launch a new f/1.2 full-frame autofocus E-mount lens. Again, this is not a well-known company like Viltrox, 7Artisans, Laowa, Meike or others that we already know.

I find it impressive how many Chinese manufacturers are now building autofocus lenses. Some of these lenses, such as the Viltrox FE lenses, are of extremely high quality. Now there are only two major hurdles for them:

Building good ZOOM lenses with autofocus (this is difficult because of the more complex autofocus algorithm)
Produce their own cameras with native E-mount or NEW-mount

Back to the new company: it takes quite a courage to start with a f/1.2 FE AF lens. I hope they nail it!
