With the Momo 28mm E-mount lens you get the 100 year old Vest Pocket Kodak “look”

The Japanese company Yasuhara is known for their two E-mount lenses, the Nanoha 5:1 macro (Click here) and the Madoka 180 fisheye (Click here). And they are now launching their third E-mount lens project on Kickstarter. Their new MoMo Soft Focus Pancake Lens is based on the 100 year old [shoplink 48247 ebay]Vest Pocket Kodak lens design (here on eBay)[/shoplink].

This is their project description:

Yasuhara a Japanese lens maker, just launched their MoMo Soft Focus Pancake Lens for digital cameras on Kickstarter. The MoMo Lens is based on the single meniscus lens used in the Vest Pocket Kodak (VPK) camera from 100 years ago. It is designed to achieve the same dreamy, soft focus pictures with the convenience of today’s digital cameras.
The soft focus on the MoMo Lens is set at F6.4, but users can adjust the aperture through F22 to control the power of its effect. MoMo Lenses will work with mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It will be available with mounts for Micro Four Thirds, Sony NEX, Canon-EF or Nikon F-Series, and eventually Canon EOS-M as well as Fuji X cameras. Further specifications provided below:

Tony Northrup speculates Sony will introduce two different A9 cameras at Photokina

Share

Based on his long experience Tony Northrup is guessing what’s coming next from the big companies (Sony, Canon and Nikon). He does believe Sony will actually release two different A9 models at Photokina. Those would be the specs:

A9

A9r

And in 2017 we would get three more FE cameras:

A7rm3 A7m3

A7sm3

Just for fun…

Which one of the five "speculated" models would you consider to buy?

You get both the [shoplink 45757 ebay]Black (Click here)[/shoplink] and the [shoplink 45758 ebay]Silver (Click here)[/shoplink] Rokinon 12mm lens for $318. This is a manual focusing but high quality prime lens. We really don’t have too many of those “pure APS-C” prime lenses or the A6300.

And the brand new Lexar cards already got a major nice price drop and is a top seller at Amazon US (Click here)
