The A99II will be in Stock again on March 13 according to a new info shared by Amazon US (Click here). BHphoto reports that if you order the A99II now it will ship within 7-14 days. That’s exactly the same shipping time of the 70-200mm GM. A few lenses are in Stock via third party sellers at Amazon US.

Zeiss Photographer Greg Watermann is now teasing the launch of the new Batis tele portrait prime lens. He just published a new image shot with the lens that he says will be “available this spring“. It’s still unclear when the lens will be announced but for sure it’s a matter of days…

Zeiss posted this image shot by Greg Watermann with the new Batis tele portrait lens that will be announced within the next days. Zeiss also added a teaser text in the note:

“By the way, he has something new in his camera bag. Our new Batis portrait telelens. Stay tuned for more info.”

If you recall end of last year we got word about a new Batis 135mm tele lens. The lens should be the one you see on that Instagram picture (yeah I know not a lot to see there).

Help needed: Watch out for copycat sites! Zeiss posted this on Feb 22. I posted this today and you can bet copycat rumor sites will repost this today after reading it on SAR without crediting SAR for finding the image. If you find those sites please ask them to credit SAR. Thanks!

This is the estimated pricing of the three new Voigtlander FE lenses!

DC.watch posted the “estimated” lens pricing of the three new Voigtlander lenses:

MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm F2 Aspherical E-mount: It is scheduled to be released in 2017, and the target price is under 150,000 yen (under $1,300).

NOKTON 40mm F1.2 Aspherical E-mount: It aims to release this year under 150,000 yen (under $1,300).

NOKTON classic 35mm F1.4 E-mount: The assumed price range would be “VM mounted version and a little something extra”, and it will be less than 100,000 yen (under $900). It aims to be released in 2017.
