SAR readers and users of the Dpreview forum reported multiple issues with the latest Sigma MC-11 firmware update (1.06):

once the lens looses focus, it refuses to try to gain focus again, until turning the camera off and back on

A9: Sony Japan, Sony Support, Sony Australia.
A7rII: Sony Japan, Sony Support, Sony Australia.
A7sII: Sony Japan, Sony Support, Sony Australia.
A7II: Sony Japan, Sony Support, Sony Australia.
A6500: Sony Japan, Sony Support, Sony Australia.

• Change specifications for overheating warning

Sony A7rII and A7sII ([shopcountry 59287] and [shopcountry 56902])

• Adds “Auto Pwr OFF Temp.” function(*)
  (*)If the same part of your skin touches the camera for a long period of time while using the camera, even if the camera does not feel hot to you, it may cause symptoms of a low-temperature burn such as redness or blistering.
  Pay special attention in the following situations and use a tripod, etc.
  • When using the camera in a hightemperature environment
  • When someone with poor circulation or impaired skin sensation uses the camera

• Optimaizes image stabilization performance in movie mode
