Sony Electronic’s cloud production platform Creators’ Cloud now enables Cloud upload, which allows photos and videos taken with cameras such as the FX3 and FX30 to be directly uploaded to cloud storage.
After initial settings are made using the smartphone app “Creators’ App” (version 2.3), photos and videos will be automatically transferred to the cloud storage of Creators’ Cloud when the camera is turned on, without going through the smartphone.
Photos and videos transferred to the cloud can be quickly viewed and edited from various devices.
From March 2024 onwards, α1, α9 III, α7S III, and α7 IV will also be compatible with this function.
This feature will be on display at the Sony booth at CP+, which will be held in Yokohama, Japan from February 22nd (Thursday) in local time.

Today we should have a Sony announcement at around 3-4pm London time. There is not livestream event from Sony likely because there is no new camera to be announced. There will be a new 24-50mm f/2.8 G and I heard also the PDT-FP1 transmitter will be unveiled in other countries outside Japan (Where it already was announced back in January). But maybe Sony will do something unexpected and also give us some info/hints about other future products? Let’s see…never give up hope :) —
