Share

Yesterday Skylum released the update for Luminar 2018 named “Jupiter”. This is a very major release with a lot of updates I reported here. But today I got the report about the speed improvement when working with the Sony A7rIII files. As you can see from the images it’s huge (Click on them to enlarge).

If you plan to buy Luminar use the coupon code “SAR” you will get $10 off:

The next two events where Sony might announce new products: Worldphoto and Kando trip

Share

We have now two major Sony events where we might see some product announcement:

Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition from April 20 to May 6
Kando trip from May 9 to 12

On all of these exhibitions there have been at least a product announcement in the past. So what can we expect to get?

I am 90% confident we will get a new 24mm f/1.4 GM lens soon (maybe at Kando trip).
Sony A7sIII is unlikely, new APS-C E-mount camera more likely while RX cameras are usually announced in June.
Probably some more not yet rumored E-mount lenses.
