A new Patent application published on June 6 shows this mount with 8 pins. The current E-mount has 10 pins. I don’t know if this is a patent for an updated E-mount with 8 pins or for a completely new mount (medium format?).

There is no info in the patent that could lead us to the answer. What’s your “feeling” on this?

We seem to have gone full circle and classic prime lenses, once the only choice, are seemingly being rediscovered and once again becoming highly sought after.
