Of the twelve new FE lenses promised by Sony six have been released. What’s next?

At the Photokina press conference in late 2018 Sony promised the release of 12 more lenses. They didn’t give us a timeframe which is kind of weird. But I guess that all those 12 lenses will be announced in 2019 and 2020.

Six of those twelve lenses have been announced:

The question is…what to expect next?

Let’s start with Sony patented lens designs:
– 500mm f/4
– 100mm f/1.4

I think both lenses are likely to be released. I am 100% sure the 500mm f/4.0 is on the roadmap. And also the 100mm f/1.4 makes sense. We know Nikon’s 105mm f/1.4 is very popular lens. Would be nice for Sony to have this lens too.

Rumored lenses:
– Sony wants to extend the affordable prime lens offering.
– Sony also said that f/1.2 autofocus lenses could make sense (article here).

What do you hope to get?

– 18mm f/1.8
– 21mm f/1.4
– 24-70mm GM II
– 50mm f/1.2
– 85mm f/1.2
– 200mm f/2.0
