Sony issued a new firmware update for the FX3 and FX30 cameras

FX3 Benefits and Improvements (download here)

  • Fixes an issue where updating the camera from Ver. 6.00 with a registered user LUT to Ver. 6.01 meant that users could not apply the user LUT or record and operate the camera
    • Customers currently using Ver. 6.00 or Ver. 6.01 with a registered user LUT are advised to re-register the user LUT before proceeding with the update to Ver. 6.02.

This update also includes the following improvements introduced in Ver. 6.01:

  • Improves the operational stability of the camera

  • Fixes an issue where updating the camera from Ver. 5.00 with a registered user LUT to Ver. 5.01 meant that users could not apply the user LUT or record and operate the camera
    • Customers currently using Ver. 5.00 or Ver. 5.01 with a registered user LUT are advised to re-register the user LUT before proceeding with the update to Ver. 5.02.

This update also includes the following improvements introduced in Ver. 5.01:

  • Improves the operational stability of the camera
