As reported by MirrorlessRumors DJI is highly likely going to announce the new Mavic Pro II on July 18. The only Sony-related news is that the new drone is rumored to feature the new 12 MP Sony IMX226 CMOS 1/1.7″ STARVIS sensor (PDF sensor spec sheet here).
And I still wonder if Sony should have seriously considered to enter this market. After all they had some high-end drones developed in the past years (read the 2015 press text here).
