It’s official: Sony announcement on July 16, at 10:00 AM ET

Hurray folks! Alphauniverse just confirmed the Sony announcement on July 16 at 10am Eastern time!  We will livestream the new camera announcement on SAR. Here are the timezones:

Note: The press release of the new cameras will be online at 12am Eastern time which will be July 17 in Asia (that’s why my sources said announcement is on July 17)

80% reliable rumor: Sony will announce a new RX camera
80% reliable rumor: Sony will announce a new E-mount camera with EVF in the center (unclear if it’s APS-C or FF)
60% reliable rumor: Sony will announce a new A6500 successor with FZ100 battery, slightly larger body, A6500 appearance.
60% reliable rumor: New APS-C lenses to be announced along the A6500 successor
50% reliable rumor: There might be another High End camera
50% reliable rumor: all four registered camera models might be announced on July 16/17
