Hot leak: World’s first image of the new Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM lens!
A source just sent me this cropped out image of the new Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM lens. It’s clear this is the 300m GM because of the following elements:
- It’s a prime lens as it has no zoom ring
- The lens controls are in front of the tripod mount while the 400mm GM and 600mm GM have it on the back
I believe this lens will be announced within the next 4-6 months and be priced around $7,000. And if we are lucky this lens will be announced along a FANTASTIC new stacked sensor camera ;)
