After Panasonic (GH5s) also Fuji is going into the pure cine world and they will release the new X-H1 next week. The news matters because Sony can no longer sit comfortably on their throne. The Fuji X-H1 has many strong points:
- Fuji is smart enough to launch the X-H1 along two dedicated 18-55mm and 50-135mm t/2.9 zoom lenses. Sony still has to offer something similar for the A6xxx series!
- The X-H1 has dual card slot, F-LOG, 200Mbps and a nice large body. The Sony A6700 needs to get dual SD card too.
I think it’s seriously time for Sony to consider to launch both he A6700 and the A7sIII. The A7sIII is likely to be announced in April while we have no clue yet when the A6700 could be announced.
