Crazy rumor? Sony FX3II coming in March will replace both the FX3 and A7sIII
The A7sIII is the oldest Alpha camera in the lineup. But does it still make sense for Sony to make a A7sIV if you have the very successful FX3 camera? While my trusted sources still didn’t let me know if there is a new A7sIV is coming in 2024 one of the WILD rumors I got (therefore high chance of BS!!!) says the following:
- A7s-series will not be further developed in favor of FX-series
- FX3-successor has global shutter
- 12,9 MP, 4k, 180p
- fanless
- EVF as an accessory
- Announcement end of March
Now, I warned you this might be BS. But in some sense…this rumor also makes a lot of sense. Why bother to develop and release two new cameras if you can do all in one? What do you think?
