Confirmed: Sony product announcement on April 16/17

Share

Three sources now confirmed Sony will have a product announcement event around April 16/17 (depending on your timezone). So far I only got confirmation about one specific product that will be announced on that day.

To be announced on April 16/17

  • Sony 16-25mm f/2.8 G

Rumored to be announced within the next 2-3 months:

  • Sony ZV-E10II
  • Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM II
  • Sony 24-70mm f/2.0
  • Another E-mount lens (specs yet not known)

I would find it odd if Sony would only announce the 16-25mm G…so I hope at leas one more product of this list will be announced on that very same day. If I could choose I would want that 24-70mm f/2.0 to be announced first :)

I know that the first half of the year is not that exciting regarding the Sony announcements. But like I told major new camera announcement will be coming the second half of 2024! Don’t worry ;)
