Compeitition rumors: Panasonic S5II might be announced soon and feature a new Lidar autofocus tech?
In a world made of small improvements it’s rare to see some real new innovation. And this might be one: Panasonic could announce the new S5II on January 4th. And this camera might feature a brand new Lidar autofocus tech (wild rumor!). I have no clue why this AF system should be better than current phase detection systems. But it will be very interesting to see how it works!
