According to PetaPixel, Sony cannot have in-camera image stacking or electronic LiveND because OM System owns the patents. If this is the case, I hope Sony can come to an agreement with OM Digital, because it is really annoying not to be able to use some functions directly in the camera. I know OM Digital is not doing very well financially, so maybe they would be happy to collect some money for licensing their patents?

Viltrox will announce those two new lenses in April:

• 40mm f/2.5 Full Frame autofocus lens for Sony E, Nikon Z and Fuji X
• 56mm f/1.7 APS-C autofocus lens for Sony E, Nikon Z and Fuji X

Sigma just posted the youtube live stream teaser for a new event on March 26 at 21 JST time. Like I told you in my previous posts you can expect to get the new 50mm f/1.2 E and L-mount lens!

You can now preorder the new 7Artisans 50mm f/1.8 AF lens at Amazon US&EU, BHphoto, Pergear and 7Artisans.

SonyAlphaBlog already tested the lens and concluded:

The 7 Artisans 50mm F1.8 (228$/251 euros) is a good surprise.: very good to excellent sharpness, good AF, very good bokeh balls, soft background blur and very color rendition
Main weaknesses are size and weight and to a lesser extent Chromatic aberrations
