Sony Earnings Announcement for Q3. After losing quarters Sony manages to close the fiscal third quarter of 2009 with an operating profit. The quarterly sales of digital cameras is higher than the quarterly sales of the year 2008. But the truth is Sony managed to archieve such results by reducing costs and the closure of production facilities.
